What batteries are required?

Brushdoctor is supplied with 4 'C' cell batteries. We recommend high quality batteries such as Duracell or Eveready because they provide more power than cheap "no name" batteries. You can also use good quality rechargeable batteries.

How many cycles will batteries last for?

With Duracell (or similar quality) batteries, Brushdoctor will last for at least 70 cycles of 40 seconds each.

What size of paint brush will fit inside Brushdoctor?

Standard decorating brushes, that fit inside the Brushdoctor, range from about 1/2" up to 3" in diameter.

What type of paint can be cleaned?

The Brushdoctor was designed to remove both emulsion and gloss paint from your paint brushes.

Can Brushdoctor clean artists' or fine art brushes?

Brushdoctor was designed for cleaning decorating brushes - the type you use to paint your house. We have heard of some people using their Brushdoctor to clean fine art brushes as well. When cleaning an artists' brush, you may need to hold the brush handle because the rubber grip was designed for larger handles.
