Here is our user guide to getting the best out of your Brushdoctor.

Step 1 - Check your batteries Check that your Brushdoctor has batteries inside. If you are using rechargeable batteries, put them on to charge before you start painting to ensure they are ready when you have finished. Your new Brushdoctor is supplied with batteries. |

Step 2 - Attach the battery pack Slide the battery pack upwards onto the cleaning chamber, ensuring that the grooves on the battery pack and cleaning chamber line up with each other. When you reach the top, the battery pack should lock into place.

Step 3 - Fill with water/white spirit Pour water or white spirit into the cleaning chamber.

Step 4 - Correct fill level Ensure that the water/white spirit does not exceed the lower of the two lines marked on the cleaning chamber. In fact, the less water you use, the more effective the cleaning capability of Brushdoctor is.

Step 5 - Remove excess paint Before placing your dirty brush into your Brushdoctor, remove any excess paint by wiping it onto a piece of newspaper.

Step 6 - Insert brush in lid Insert the handle of the brush into the rubber seal on the underside of the lid.

Step 7 - Place brush in chamber Place the lid into the top of the cleaning chamber.

Step 8 - Check brush height Ensure that the brush is suspended at the correct level. The top of the bristles should line up with the top level of the water. (We have shown it outside the cleaning chamber on this photograph for clarity) |
